I have a form to input details into the databse. I have date posted and end date in drop downs, daay month year. (works fine locally)

Due to sql it wont work just getting 0000000, I need to put the 3 values into one date string and then convert it to Year-Month-Day can anyone tell me how to do this the one date string is really getting me, please if you can help tell me were to put the code as i am very new to this.
