A Blog
Hi,
This is the first blog I've designed. Funny how it came about really. Someone said to me "Could you do me a blog? I'd like it to be blue and clean.". So this is what I came up with. www.theactorsplace.co.uk I used wordpress as the bloggy bit and css and html for the design. There will be a proper logo at some point but I don't know what the person I did the site for actually wants it for or where it will be hosted, so that will have to wait for now. All comments and thoughts are much appreciated, Pete.  P.S. Just ignore the domain name, it's just one I had spare. It will be hosted elsewhere at a different domain. Hi,
Thanks for your comments. I've removed the right gradient . I originally put it there because I was worried about the whole thing looking too flat, but it probably looks cleaner if anything. Which was what I going for in the first place. I'm just a bit worried that the 'RSS' and 'RSS Comments' text is a little hard to read. Thanks again, much appreciated. Pete.

Oh, I like that. One more thing. The navigation looks a little cramped. If you gave it some more padding, it would make the nav easier to spot and look better at the same time. Great looking site! I love minimal designs.

Right, I've increased the padding a little and I actually increased the text size so that the navigation stands out a little more. I've left the RSS links the same colour as they are still easily visible and I think it's quite nice that they aren't as clear as the other side links .
