i design a web page on namo programe and i upload it to saveitfree.com
server
but when i run it it gave me that message

Access forbidden!

You don't have permission to access the requested directory. There is either no index document or the directory is read-protected.

Does it have .html or .htm extension? Maybe they set it up to have 1 and not the other.

Ok but what do they support? Have you checked their FAQ? Or is there something that tell you the extension you need to use?

Why not just contact them and see what the problem is?

Some website hosts also except home.html, welcome.html, start.html...so it is very important to make sure that you have the correct one for your website host.

and default.html too

Oh, and another note...you do not have an index.html file, because I checked and the web server gave me a 404 file not found. So that means you do not have it uploaded in the right folder/area. Try looking for public_html, or www one of those folders, if you don't see them let us know what folders you do see, and which one you uploaded it into.

Depends on how you coded the website. If you coded the website to allow for a Pictures folder then you should upload that folder as well.

at last i found part of solution
the index file is
index.htm

when i write www.napstar.saveitfree.com
it gives me the error message

but when i write www.napstar.saveitfree.com/index.htm
it opens

so how can i make www.napstar.saveitfree.com opens directly

and i put pictures of files in attachment

i fix the problem
i rename the index file with index.html from the server manager
and it works well
