Image slide show

Hello everyone, i'm a very new newbie in flash. I'm trying to do complete a tutorial form http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorial...th-sound/21911 on creating a image slide show. I go through all the steps, creating the rectangle, resizing it and then I come to the last step where it says to do the previous steps. I do them and create several rectangles and it's still not coming out the way I needed. Can anyone PM me a suggestion or steps how to do a slide show, much like the one I'm working on. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

As for the problem, it is hard to understand what your problem is without seeing a picture, or the actual file.

I follow all the steps and its not comeing out right. I guess I'm asking when I create the rectangles from the steps in this tuturorial if i have to create more rectangles until I get to the end of the picture?

Hey thanks Jacob, I tried opening that Fla file but it gives me errors saying " there was a problem opening this file" I'll try to research why i'm getting the error and when you get a chance take a look at the tutorial and if can kind of give me some type of explaination on what the tutorial is trying to do with the rectangles. Thanks again.

You must be using an order version of flash. That file is made for flash 8, what version are you using? I can export the file for you to open in the correct version.

You're right, i'm a college intern using Devry Universities software off the citrix metaframe server. I'm using flash mx, I believe this is like the 2000 or 2001 version of flash. I have to use this until the company i'm doing an internship with buys flash 8 for me.

hahaha....well I can only export it back to MX2004...can't export it back to version MX...lol, too bad...different ActionScript library...won't work.

Hey Jacob, I posted another thread, about fading images in and out. I'm not trying to do a image slide show anymore like that tuturial. Now I just want to take multiple images and make them fade in and out. IF you can check out my other thread.
