Inspiration

I'm going to use the graphic below as the background for part of my thinkquest submission site. Will be using it as background for flash movie. What I need now is inspiration on what else to add to the background.. Around 30 percent of the horizontal space on the right will be left to text ( ie description, quotation?.. )

Hrmm.. for a flash movie I don't think that this is a good way to go. Only reason is is it is way too big for a flash movie. The average flash movie is anywhere from 600-750 pixels in length and 250-450 pixels in height. This is to help loading times and to make it viewable for all browsers and still give you a little room to make a nice sized border. Think about it, do you want to have to scroll to see the rest of the movie?? just think about resizing it a little. You can do it!!! You have really suprized me with your work and to be so young. Great Job, keep it up and one day you will surpass me... Ohh.. wait.. Let me rephrase that. Keep it up and one day I might catch up with you. :wink:

The page was designed for a 1024x768 resolution because few use 800x600 resolution. I don't know if it is a problem with the graphic or anything because at different resolutions, the lines look different. At 1024x768, the lines are qualy thick and light. But at this resolution 1600x1200 it looks altogether different!

actually, more people use 800x600 nowadays... It was moving to the 1024x768 until Online movies came out. Now to get the bigger picture people are switching back to 800x600. Plus, most universites are set to default 800x600 now. Also, I know that some of the new LCD monitors and stuff dont have either setting available. They have some special widescreen fit to it where sometimes flash movies or any other kind can become a hassle (this is because of the height not width though...). But then again it's not my website. Good luck with it, and you know IM always just an IM away.. even if I am asleep, I usually wake up when Im buzzed.
