Assign a Port No to web site in IIS

Hi there
I want to assign a port number to a web site in IIS 6.0?
we search in the net but all says that
webserver(right click)->new->web site

i have IIS 6.0 and we have webserver(right click)->new->virtual diractoy
option and in this we are not able to assign a port number to this web site

plz let me know if there have another mistake by me

i think you want: webserver(right click)->properties

From there you can change the port number.

If you cant add a new website then you must be running IIS6 on a workstation, not a server.

yes i am on win2k professional not on server.

you cant have more than 1 website running in that case, you must be running IIS on a server if you want more than 1 website. All you can do is edit the properties of the default website.
